Happy New Year to All.
As many of my friends know, I often write about my feelings and observations into my old-school journals. I always wanted to start an online blog where I can also share it with my dear friends, but never had a chance to have the first push to establish it. The beginning of 2010 became the inspiration of a new start, new hope and this blog.
It was snowing in Boston today and I had a chance to walk down the snowy white sidewalks of this great city. It is not easy not to start dreaming when you come across the beautiful frozen Charles River covered with white snow at night. The rainbow colors of the Christmas lights dancing on the shiny bosoms of the Boston Skyline. Few lovers are passing by hand to hand that brings back the memories of my dreams of love. Few stand by the river all alone by themselves, thinking probably… “I should start writing…”
It is just 10 minutes to midnight, I am heading to the Copley Square in quick steps, rushing with other people to catch the countdown. I made it on-time along with the herd. There is a concert on the stairs of the famous Boston Public Library which I did not hear a note from it due to the avalanche of thoughts. I walked around the park, passed the magical Trinity Church, watching other people. The souls surrounding me pulls me into their minds, some happy, some hopeful, some sad – I try to swim out of it to breath. “I need to write…”
White color was always the symbol of purity, cleanliness, and innocence. A clean white page, snow covered old city,a new white year – full of hope, happiness, love… Let it begin… 3 – 2 – 1
